Presented in partnership with the Amherstburg Freedom Museum, this special Emancipation Day event paired a screening of 12 Years a Slave with a panel conversation about the story’s historical significance and Amherstburg’s role in the fight for freedom.

Half of ticket proceeds supported the Amherstburg Freedom Museum.
